This is an update to the LED Glasses I made. Instead of using my own esp8266, I decided to go with an sp511e controller, flashed with WLED. I like the sp511e for being compact, and it has a digital mic that allows for better tuning. I found that last year with the analog mic, the audio-reactive effects pretty much just stayed on “max”.
