Tree & Wreath using WLED

This is my first project involving WS2811 pixel strings. I wanted to make some sort of holiday decorations, and this is what I came up with.

For the wreath, I used a large pre-made wreath we already had, and simply worked the string into it.

For the tree, I used 1/8″ corrugated plastic I purchased from a local crafting store. It worked OK for this since it didn’t really need to stand up on its own. I’d go with thicker material next time, though. I just cut the tree shape out, and drilled 3/8″ holes in it (I used a jig to keep it from ripping up).

Both are controlled by Wemos D1 Mini controllers, flashed with WLED. They’re powered by 5V 3A DC power adapters.
